All-Weather Ferro Rod Fire Starter with Striker

Matches get wet and lighters run out. This doesn't.

Scrape the steel striker down the ferro rod and get a shower of sparks up to 5,400°F, hot enough to light dry tinder in rain, wind, snow or cold.

• Works when wet and at any altitude
• Thousands of strikes from one rod
• High-visibility handle that's easy to find in your pack
• Lanyard keeps the rod and striker together
• No fuel and no maintenance, just keep your tinder dry

Use it for: warmth, cooking, signaling and boiling water. At this price, put one in every kit you own.
